Once set up, you can just speak the shortcut, and VoiceDash will expand it instantly. For example, you could set the snippet "//defdone" to expand to your team's full definition of done.

Yes, VoiceDash is designed as a system-wide dictation tool, meaning it works in any application, including Jira in your web browser. As long as the keyboard cursor is active in a text field (like a comment box or issue description), the transcribed text will appear there. We currently have native applications for both Windows and Mac.

VoiceDash offers flexibility here. You can use Auto-Detect mode, and the software will try to identify the language you are speaking. Alternatively, you can manually set a specific output language in the app settings. For instance, if you set the output to English but speak in French, the final transcription will be in English.
